Buzz Aldrin on the Moon

Give the man some extra points!!

He’s Buzz Aldrin for crying out loud!

Look, Buzz Aldrin can’t dance real well. He’s 80 years old to start off with. He probably never really had much rhythm to begin with. But for crying out loud, the man walked on the Moon. Now he’s trying to dance with the stars on Dancing With The Stars. I feel he is not going to last long on the show, but how can you vote the man off. He’s walked on the Moon for crying out loud!!

We give people “extra” points in many programs in this country. Sometimes people get extra points because of their skin color, gender or what have you in admissions to college, on all sorts of tests and in hiring practices. Now, I think that’s really not the right thing do. I also realize that’s just the way it is.

So why don’t we just have that same program going on DWTS. Why can’t Mr. Aldrin get some extra points for some reason? He’s Buzz Aldrin for crying out loud! He walked on the Moon. I think that should be worth some extra points! So everyone, make sure you keep Buzz Aldrin on the show as long as possible. For crying out loud, the man walked on the Moon. Plus he’s a better dancer than Kate Gosselin!! And much nicer!!!

This is a great Hub for crying out loud!

Thanks for putting a smile on my face today. I had the same thoughts running through my head the first time I saw Buzz hobbling around the dance floor. I thought, 'he's not much of a dancer, but... He's walked on the damn moon! He gets my vote.'

Canklefish, we are thinking alike. Some people, like Mr. Aldrin, should get extra points and extra credit just for being who he is, or was! The man walked on the Moon!!

Thanks debugs, Mr. Aldrin is a iconic American figure. He deserves all our respect and then some.
