I am not as pleased as BP

BP says they are pleased with the amount of oil they are capturing after they claim they have put a cap on the blown out well under the Gulf. I looked at a video and it seems a lot of oil is still flowing into the Gulf. So they may be pleased, but I just don’t see it that way. I am not pleased. I don’t think anyone else should be either.

The company tells us and we have had a lot of “BP says this, BP says that” since this entire ordeal has begun. I don’t see much progress being made on anything in this deal. So let’s just say I don’t believe a word they say. I don’t believe a word Thad Allen says. And I don’t believe a word Barack Obama says about anything in this deal.

I see tons of oil still flowing into the Gulf. I see miles of spoiled coastlines. I see tons of people out of work. I see tragedy all around. And not much has been done to alleviate that. BP is getting a free pass on this deal. President Obama is a wuss. He’s not a man at all. He does not know how to handle a situation like this. This is a tragedy of uber-epic proportions and nothing is really being done about it.

I am getting ultra tired of all of this. I write about it each day. America needs to demand some action here. We need this flow of oil stopped. We need money flowing to the states affected. We need people who can get things done involved here. I am not seeing any of that. I am ashamed to be an American right now. Come on America. We can stop this flow of oil. We can help these people who need help. But nothing is being done. I’d go down there myself and I have actually emailed the President offering to help. They don’t want me. The first thing I’d do is punch Tony Hayward square in the mouth. That would get his attention.
