She's not a big storm but will bring rain!!

Tropical Storm Hermine is whirling and twirling in the Gulf of Mexico!! She is a small storm and won’t get too much bigger since she formed too close to land and will move onshore in the not too distant future. The storm is moving north giving it time to strengthen somewhat though. When she hits the shore near the Texas\Mexico border she probably won’t be a hurricane but Hermine will bring plenty of rain to the area.

After moving inland the storm will tract up through Texas and then probably curve more to the northeast bringing rain to the places it passes over. Here in San Antonio on the present track Hermine will past to our west but not too far west. So we should get some much need rain. Of course, we don’t need the rain to fall to fast or we will have flooding problems which I am sure we will get. We will deal with whatever we get.

I love this stuff. I will keep track of it all. I will chronicle it in my journal and put up a blog or two about the storm. Check back in from time to time to see what I have to say about it all. This is not a large storm or one that has a lot of wind but it will bring some rain which can be deadly just as well.

sheila b., hey and good evening. We will get some rain from the storm but that will be about it. It made up quickly and we are lucky it was close to land. We do need rain. I just hope we don't get too much. I will keep my blog updated. Thanks for the read.
